🇬🇧 The code is open source (Apache 2.0) and the specification is open (CC BY 4.0). The names "Cooking Chart" and "CCL" and the logo are not covered by those licenses. They identify the official project, so people know what they are getting.

You may, without asking: - Say that your software, plugin or site uses, supports or is compatible with Cooking Chart / CCL, as long as it passes the conformance suite (node conformance/run.js or an equivalent run of conformance/cases/). - Use the names to refer to the project in articles, talks, papers and teaching. - Keep the "Made with Cooking Chart" link in embedded charts, or remove it.

Please ask first before: - Using the names or logo in the name of a product, company, app or domain. - Publishing a modified specification under the same name. Extensions are welcome as vocabulary packs (SPEC §9) or as enhancement proposals to the official specification. - Implying endorsement or affiliation.
